Medalist's new specialty pellets for horses consists of Alfalfa hay farmed in the nutrient-dense soil of Delta Utah.
We take your horse's nutrition very seriously and want to earn your trust! Just so that you are aware, 50lb bags ship within 24 hours and it takes 7-14 business days for pallets and super sacks to be delivered. That's because we take the time to mix the best ingredients, make fresh pellets daily, and schedule the most efficient delivery schedule to keep shipping at a low or free cost depending on your area.
Storage
Storage
To keep your pellets fresh and effective, we recommend only buying what you’ll use in about 3 months. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. Make sure the bag stays covered but not sealed airtight—pellets like to breathe a little. And whatever you do, don’t let them get wet—moisture is their sworn enemy.

Choke-free
Our pellets are small and we don't add any binders which keeps them soft. This eliminates the risk of choke without necessitating the soaking of pellets. However, if desired, you can still opt to soak them to provide your animal with additional hydration.

Easy and space saving
Put down that pitchfork. With pellets you won't need to break down hay bales or deal with the mess and waste. Pellets are easy to store and take up a fraction of the space as hay (1/5 the space!).

Nutrient-dense
Alfalfa contains more protein and calcium than other hays and has a better flavor that most horses eat right up!
