Alfalfa Pellets

Premium Alfalfa Horse Feed Pellets – Grown & Made Fresh in Delta, Utah

Medalist Alfalfa Pellets are made from premium alfalfa grown in the mineral-rich soils of Delta, Utah, and crafted into highly palatable horse feed pellets designed to support horses of all ages and activity levels. By growing, harvesting, and manufacturing our feed in one location, we maintain exceptional quality, freshness, and consistency from field to bag.

Every batch is carefully produced to provide dependable nutrition while reducing waste, dust, and sorting common with traditional hay. We even blend the stems, so your horse gets all the nutrition alfalfa offers.

Fresh Feed Worth Waiting For

We believe your horse deserves fresh nutrition, not feed that’s been sitting in a warehouse.

  • 50 lb bags typically ship within 24 hours.
  • Pallets and 1,500 lb super sacks generally ship within 7–14 business days.

Bulk orders take a little longer because we produce fresh pellets, coordinate efficient freight shipments, and optimize delivery routes to keep shipping costs as low as possible.

When you choose Medalist, you’re choosing fresh-made horse feed backed by quality ingredients, careful production, and a commitment to your horse’s health.

    Choke-free

Our pellets are small and we don't add any binders which keeps them soft. This eliminates the risk of choke without necessitating the soaking of pellets. However, if desired, you can still opt to soak them to provide your animal with additional hydration.

  • super sack next to ingredients

    Easy and space saving

Put down that pitchfork. With pellets you won't need to break down hay bales or deal with the mess and waste. Pellets are easy to store and take up a fraction of the space as hay (1/5 the space!).

  • Nutrient-dense

Alfalfa contains more protein and calcium than other hays and has a better flavor that most horses eat right up!
