Horses love it! I have three senior horses that I am trying to get weight on, and the pellets are softer and easy to feed to them. Great feed!
I do not think I got the full 1500 lb sack of sprouted pellets, plus there is a lot of corn in it. I don't want corn in the pellets. only the fodder.
We have four horses - from a metabolic 23 year old retiree, to a spicy 9 y/o thoroughbred training for eventing, an 18 hh 18 y/o belgian trail horse, and they all love these and look fabulous. The OTTB gets 10lbs a day and everyone else gets a small handful.
I bought 5 bags from chewy- my 2 horses won’t touch it - it’s been sitting for 3 days now, I’ve added a little each day so it would b fresh but neither one of mine like it. Really disappointed and now wishing I hadn’t bought 5 bags. Wasted my money.
I always like when I get a delivery but bags are inconsistent (brown bags or chewy bags) One delivery pellets were full of cockroach’s they seemed old not green like usual. Last 2 deliveries they got rained on. Yes they get wet through the brown bags! I get the 2000lb pallet.
Even my picky eaters love these pellets. They are easy to soak for those with dental issues or old/ missing teeth.
Horses, goats and chickens love the sprout pellets. They all come running across the pasture and mob me every morning.
I have Miniature Silky Fainting Goats and free range chickens.
It is a fight every morning to get to the feeder. The goats are healthy and looking fantastic. The chicken eggs have beautiful yellow yolks. They are the envy of the neighborhood.
My wife and I have been living in Paris since February 2024 and have been able to manage our deliveries without a problem. Medalist works with our housesitters and our horses have continued to thrive on Medalist Feed.
My horse loves it and I bought because they claim no choking on these pellets which so far its been great. My horse has some metabolic issues so giving these a try
My horses love the pellets and the delivery driver is super accommodating! Would be An even better deal if it was a hundred bucks cheaper....
This is amazing feed. We use the sprouts with chopoed hay for one of our horses that is smoothmouthed and has had trouble digesting too much roughage
I will be figuring out how to add this to all my horses' diets now that I have tried it on one very ulcer prone horse. He often left feed behind during a flare up. He eats these happily and has been flare up free since starting.
Easy to feed and store and my 29 year old loves them! He has put weight on nicely!
