Medalist's new specialty pellets for horses consists of barley sprouts, alfalfa, oat hay, and Timothy Grass. Barley sprouts are a fresh, vertically farmed feed that is processed into pellets within a day of harvest.
The sprout pellets have vet-recommended optimal protein with 50% more energy than alfalfa hay. Because the barley sprout the energy sources are slow-release and easily digestible, this feed lowers the risk of colic and founder. It is a better feed for your horses.
We take your horse's nutrition very seriously and want to earn your trust! Just so that you are aware, it takes 5-12 business days from the day you place your order to the time it gets delivered. That's because we take the time to mix the best ingredients, make fresh pellets daily, and schedule the most efficient delivery schedule to keep shipping at a low or free cost depending on your area.

I never purchased any feed. An order I had during the move to your new facility had to be canceled. Now my horses are kept in another county. Sorry

Still Wondering
So, I received a package with your "tag" was on it - saying it was from medalist feed. It was in a box, which was strange, but when it was opened, it was a dehumidifier. I still have not received my replacement bag of medalist feed. I think it is almost time to get my next bag and I haven't received my last bag. I have emailed and explained the situation and I did receive word back - but haven't heard anything since. I'm overall happy with the feed and it is putting weight back on my horse, which is a nice feeling. I don't know if the mixup was from your store or not (because I don't know why you guys would be selling dehumidifiers), but regardless....I don't have my bag of feed. Please follow up with me and let me know if I can expect my replacement bag of medalist feed anytime soon. My name is Leslie James and my email is leslie.james@aggiemail.usu.edu. Thank you.

horses like it
bought this because a friend recommended it. i do not use as sole source of feed (mine get grass hay) but it works great as a treat! i also thot it might work while camping.

My horse loves these pellets
My 27 year old Arab has "Cushings" and his teeth are almost gone. He has a hard time eating grass hay. So I wanted something he could still chew without soaking. So I tried the Sprout pellet. HE absolutely LOVES them. No more waisted hay! Delivery is a "snap". I will be making these a by weekly purchase! Thanks Medalist! We absolutely love your pellets!

Quality Feed
The horses - large and small love the pellets - will buy again
Feeding Instructions: Feed 1.5% to 2% of body weight per day for the maintenance
of horses. EXAMPLE: If you have a 1000 lb horse, feed 15-20 lbs a day.
Storage: Please store in dry area. Super Sack Totes are weather-resistant, but not completely water-proof. We recommend adding a tarp for rain storms, and removing the tarp after rain storms so that the pellets can air out. We also reccomend storage above ground on a pallet.
Medalist Feed is not responsible for mold due to lack of care.
