Medalist's new specialty pellets for horses consists of barley sprouts, alfalfa, oat hay, and Timothy Grass. Barley sprouts are a fresh, vertically farmed feed that is processed into pellets within a day of harvest.
The sprout pellets have vet-recommended optimal protein with 50% more energy than alfalfa hay. Because the barley sprout the energy sources are slow-release and easily digestible, this feed lowers the risk of colic and founder. It is a better feed for your horses.
We take your horse's nutrition very seriously and want to earn your trust! Just so that you are aware, it takes 5-12 business days from the day you place your order to the time it gets delivered. That's because we take the time to mix the best ingredients, make fresh pellets daily, and schedule the most efficient delivery schedule to keep shipping at a low or free cost depending on your area.

Perfect. Horses love it.

Great product
I like the larger sized pellets and it is different than the plain alfalfa pellets. My horses eat it fast!

Sprout Pellets Review
I did not receive the Pellets. You sent them to Syracuse not Ogden. The address (4004 W 2375 S) are identical but I live in Ogden. You did send me a shipping notice and the address was incorrect. I didn’t notice the error.
Feeding Instructions: Feed 1.5% to 2% of body weight per day for the maintenance
of horses. EXAMPLE: If you have a 1000 lb horse, feed 15-20 lbs a day.
Storage: Please store in dry area. Super Sack Totes are weather-resistant, but not completely water-proof. We recommend adding a tarp for rain storms, and removing the tarp after rain storms so that the pellets can air out. We also reccomend storage above ground on a pallet.
Medalist Feed is not responsible for mold due to lack of care.
