Return & Credit Policy
We stand behind the quality of our feed, and we want both you and your animals to be satisfied. While we do not accept returns, we offer account credit or product replacement when necessary, provided the issue meets the criteria below. Note: shipping costs are not refundable.
Timeframe for Claims
- No credits will be issued for products purchased more than 90 days ago.
- Please report any issues as soon as possible after delivery for the best resolution.
What We Need to Process a Credit
Please email the following information to sales@medalistfeed.com:
- Order number (if available)
- Your full contact information (name, phone number, and email)

Photos of the issue, clearly showing:
- The problem with the feed (e.g., mold, unexpected texture, contamination)
- The lot number:

Note: Keep the feed stored safely and hold onto it until you receive further instructions from our team.
Credit & Replacement Guidelines
- No product needs to be returned. All resolution is handled via credit or replacement.
- We typically credit the unused portion only:
- 50 lb bags: full credit per bag

1,500 lb super sacks: credit based on remaining amount
- Credits will reflect the purchase price (including discounts, if applicable).
- Our team will work with you to determine whether a replacement or credit is the best fit.
When Credit May Not Be Issued
- Feed was stored improperly (e.g., exposed to moisture, heat, or pests)
- Issue reported more than 90 days after purchase
- Product was ordered incorrectly or a change of mind (we do not offer exchanges)
Feed Refusals & Unusual Batches
In rare cases where livestock refuse the feed or it appears inconsistent (e.g., mixed sizes, foreign contaminants or wrong pellet size), we may issue a credit or send a replacement. Just send us photos and/or details so we can investigate.
Orders from Chewy
If you ordered from Chewy.com, credits are handled case by case. Please contact us directly and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
Processing Time
Credit requests are usually processed within a few days, though timelines may vary depending on the nature of the issue. We appreciate your patience as we ensure each case is handled carefully.
